Attendees at Interwire 2009 (April 27-30, 2009) probably noticed a display of micrometers from manufacturers such as Zumbach and LaserMike at the LaserLinc booth. No, we're not trying to sell used equipment... But we would like to show customers how to make their old equipment work better and provide a more complete picture of your process. Besides being a platform for showing off our impressive range of laser and ultrasonic measurement systems, a trade show like Interwire gives us the chance to demonstrate how our TLAser400 micrometer interface card and compatability modules can help you get more life out of your old micrometers. The TLAser400 card enables laser scan micrometers from other manufacturers to run on a standard Windows computer, combined with our Total Vu software, to give you measurement displays, tolerance checking, trending, SPC, flaw detection, data logging, and process control. |
The micrometers shown in the picture are all running on one standard Windows computer through LaserLinc's TLAser400 card. No more need for expensive, dedicated processors that only work on one guage from one manufacturer.
