Triton™ Triple-Axis Scanning Laser Micrometers

Our triple-axis (also called triple-plane) laser micrometers measure products from three directions, precisely calculating product diameter, ovality, and position. These three axes of measurement are coplanar and separated by 60 degrees from each other, and the measurement field is perpendicular to the product.

Three-axis inspection offers the most accurate measurements for round products.

Unlike other measurement methods, Triton triple-Axis micrometers provide accurate ovality measurements regardless of the product’s orientation or line speed.

The technology is especially useful for identifying small defects that do not encircle the product.

For benchtop applications, these micrometers can inspect products without rotating them, saving time while attaining a high degree of accuracy.
