Single-axis, glass, transparent, and translucent—measure the diameter of a clear or translucent part just as accurately as diameter of an opaque part.  With such products, laser light can bleed through the part making it appear to the system that there is more than one part present.  In the illustration, several extra segments of light are shown bleeding through the part.

Systems without proper hardware and software report this condition as an error.  However, all of LaserLinc’s systems include the proper hardware and software, at no charge, so they report accurate measurements and ignore any laser light that may bleed through the product.

Note: all of the measurements shown for single-axis may be applied to clear and translucent products.

These measurement methods can be performed using Total Vu™ software and any of the micrometers that LaserLinc supports.
